Profiting in a Competitive Real Estate Market With Nhan Lam
This month we are excited to announce Nhan Lam guest speaking on: How to Profit in a Competitive Real Estate Market. Nhan is a true entrepreneur who owns and operates several successful businesses. As the son of a family who escaped communist Vietnam in the 1970s, he was conditioned to never be complacent. His parents taught him to never take the freedoms we have in America for granted and that he should always give his best in everything he does. He has a Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, and he achieved great success in Corporate America. However, despite his high salary, he knew that his job would not help him achieve the goals that he desired, which were to retire his parents, be a stay-at-home parent, and have the true freedoms that were meant for every American (the freedom of choice).
He continually sought out business opportunities in his spare time and became successful in several of them on a part-time basis but realize that his passion was in real estate. In 2011, he decided to attend a Real Estate Rehabbing Bootcamp. From there, he applied what he learned to building a sustainable real estate business while he was still working on his full-time job. Within 2 years, he replaced his full-time income and left his job.
He is a father to 5 children and the thing that he enjoys the most is his ability to be flexible to the needs of his family. Since going full time, he averages 12 to 15 deals per year which includes Rehabs, Wholesales, and Rentals and has also started a Real Estate Investing Education company to help students get started.
As of 2022, he has trained almost 1,000 students face to face or virtually through his bootcamp trainings and mentoring programs and is proud to say that the success rate of his students are well above industry average. He contributes this success to his commitment to provide a customized business plan for students based on the skills they have today and not commit them to long-term learning that may lead to nowhere. He believes that the measure of success is not by how much money you make, but instead by how many people you have helped along the way to achieve the same success.

An Introduction to Syndication, Hedge Funds, and Private Placements for Real Estate
This month we have Clifton Ray Kaderli guest speaking and you won't want to miss this one!
Learn how to use these tools in your real estate investing activity no matter your expertise, style, or size of operation. Come learn from an experienced real estate broker of investment property about the specialized niche of syndication and investment funds. Ray Kaderli, Principal Broker for Results Realty Inc began his journey by mastering sales of REO, bank owned real estate. By selling real estate owned by the banks beginning in 2007 he was able to master the art of the deal for fix-and-flip buyers. He had what every investor wanted, distressed property for sale at a discount. When the markets changed again, many investors did not have access to capital. This led Ray to build another skill, recruiting private money for investments. Many investors who fix-and-flip enjoy relationships with private lenders that support their business activity for a good return. A natural progression of mastering your skills of real estate investing is to learn about syndication and investment funds. Flippers: you will be able to do deals and create valuable investment offerings for private money. Lenders: if you merely want to deploy your money into real estate, you will know how to shop for the best opportunities. Landlords: you can create structure that reduced risk and increases strength to opportunities that you create. Wholesalers: you will be able to align with operators that will be able to take all the deals that you can find. |
